12th Annual Walk to Cure Diabetes
Wilmington's 12th Annual Walk to Cure Diabetes will take place on Saturday, November 3rd, 2012 at Mayfaire Town Center. This years theme is "Pirates of the Cure-ibbean."
Registration begins at 9:00 a.m. and the official start is at 10:00 a.m. The walk is 3.1 miles (5K) with a 1 mile walk option for kids. Walkers will be treated to morning refreshments, lunch, live entertainment, Kids Korner activities, bounce houses, GameStop gaming tent, Pirate Costume Contest, Team T-Shirt Contest, and much more! All participants raising $100 or more receive a Free T-Shirt. Team photos will take place both before and after the walk. Team T-shirt contest will take place at 11:30 a.m. after the walk.
