Cape Fear Garden Club
The Cape Fear Garden Club is the oldest and largest garden club in North Carolina and among the largest garden clubs in the nation. Our organization is best known for producing the annual Azalea Garden Tour, featuring the finest and most exquisite gardens in our area, along with the beautiful Azalea Belles. Each year, our club awards thousands of dollars in grants for beautification and horticultural projects.
For 2012, CFGC will be doing the following: Annual CFGC Christmas Tea; Garden Tour ticket sales in January; Azalea Belle application distribution in January; Azalea Belle Community Dress Contest; Azalea Belle Dress Fittings; Weather in the Garden; Garden Owner's Wine & Cheese; Plant-An-Azalea Week; Azalea Belle Tea; Azalea Belle Governor's Luncheon; Arbor Day Tree Planting Ceremony; and many other pre and day-of Ribbon Cutting and Azalea Garden Tour event activities and projects.
